Sensata Made its Entry in EV Space at Auto Expo Components

Sensata Technologies, a multinational technology company, debuted as the top supplier of sensor and electric protection solutions for electric vehicles at the 16th edition of the Auto Expo Components 2023, which was held in New Delhi from January 12 to 15.
Sensata showcased a wide array of mission-critical sensors and electrical protection solutions for automotive and heavy vehicle off-road (HVOR) applications at the show in addition to its innovations that support vehicle electrification.
The company has over 100 years of innovation and expertise in creating products for mission-critical automotive. Its HVOR applications, enable it to offer the highest standard of quality, service, and technical support. Sensata also has a wide range of products to choose from.

Commenting on Sensata’s success in the industry at the show, Satish Borole, Director of Sales, asserted that, “Sensata is already an OEM’s preferred choice for mission-critical sensors for Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) based on its global product expertise and local support. The growing demand along with government regulations in India’s automotive industry presents a huge opportunity for Sensata, especially with the focus shifting to electric vehicles (EVs) to reduce emissions. We are well-placed to help OEMs meet stringent electrical protection, motor, and battery management requirements for their EVs with our innovative and value-added solutions.”

Around the world, more than 50 Sensata components and systems can be found on automobiles and heavy-duty vehicles, where they play a crucial role in applications for the engine, exhaust, transmission, cabin comfort, chassis, tyre pressure monitoring, and safety as well as in supporting electrification.
