With several factory-installed options and new technology, America’s leading gas and electric van range, the 2025 Ford TransitTM and E-TransitTM, will go on sale with the goal of simplifying customization for businesses and craftspeople. With their flexible engine options and bespoke vocational upfit packages, the 2025 models aim to improve overall economy and streamline fleet management.
Personalized Trade Packages for Easy Customization
For the 2025 model year, Ford is introducing four factory-installed trade packages in collaboration with Ranger DesignTM that are especially made for key industries like delivery services, HVAC specialists, general contractors, and electricians. These sets feature specialized work desks, drawers, and shelves, with options like:
1. The electrician trade kit costs $4,370 and includes wiring reels, bins, and parts drawers.
2. Bins, large storage shelves, and unique refrigerant racks are all included in the HVAC Trade Package, which starts at $4,440.
3. Starting at $2,900, the General Contractor Package comes with a range of hooks, bins, and shelves.
4. Large-capacity foldable shelves for delivery services are included in the Foldable Shelving Package, which starts at $3,300.
Options for Increased Fleet Efficiency
Ford provides numerous improvements for the Transit cargo van in 2025 in addition to the new trade packages, such as:
1. As an independent option, Smart Acceleration Truncation is now available to fleet customers. This feature facilitates smooth starts for safer and more efficient driving by regulating acceleration based on payload.
2. The mobile power cord provides greater charging flexibility with the inclusion of a fast charger adaptor.
3. In addition to improving interior functionality, adding a wall liner kit and a wide grab handle kit makes the vehicle more accessible and versatile for specific uses.
4. All low and medium-roof cargo vans and passenger vans now come with a standard 180-degree opening 50/50 hinged rear door; a 253-degree opening option is now available for better access.
