Hala Mobility has announced a strategic partnership with iGowise Mobility to deploy 2000 EV Trikes for last-mile delivery services in Bangalore and Hyderabad. This collaboration aims to address the inefficiencies in last-mile logistics by introducing specially designed, anti-topple electric vehicles that are manufactured in India. The initiative marks a significant move toward sustainable urban mobility.
iGowise will provide its BeiGo electric pickup trikes, which offer enhanced stability and a larger cargo capacity compared to traditional two-wheelers and autorickshaws. These EV trikes will serve a variety of industries, including rapid commerce, perishables delivery, and e-commerce, enabling faster and more reliable deliveries.
The partnership underscores iGowise Mobility’s commitment to reducing emissions while improving safety and comfort for riders. Sravan Kumar Appana, CEO and co-founder of iGowise, highlighted that the vehicles not only contribute to environmental sustainability but also offer cost-saving benefits for logistics companies.
Hala Mobility, which recently raised INR 51 crore, is also targeting the deployment of 10,000 electric vehicles by December 2025. The company is playing a key role in electrifying India’s logistics sector by offering fleet analytics, battery swapping services, and flexible EV rentals or subscriptions. This partnership with iGowise aligns with Hala’s broader vision of making electric vehicles a dominant force in India’s transport sector.
The deployment of these electric trikes is in line with India’s ambition to reach 80 million electric vehicles on the road by 2030. With government incentives driving the growth of sustainable transportation, this partnership represents a significant step toward reducing operational costs and meeting sustainability goals in the Indian logistics industry.
