Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) maker VinFast Auto India has announced a strategic alliance with myTVS, a prominent multi-brand vehicle service provider in India. This partnership aims to significantly expand after-sales support for VinFast’s upcoming electric SUV models – the VF 7 and VF 6.
Under the collaboration, the companies plan to roll out 120 service workshops across India. These workshops will be equipped with genuine spare parts, advanced diagnostic tools, and certified technicians to ensure efficient and seamless maintenance and repair services for VinFast vehicle owners.
The move reflects VinFast’s aggressive push into the Indian EV market. With the VF 7 and VF 6 scheduled for launch later this year, establishing a strong service ecosystem is critical to fostering consumer trust and driving EV adoption.
myTVS, which already operates a vast service network across India, will leverage its pan‑India footprint and digital systems to manage and support these new workshops. The partnership also includes plans to enhance EV charging infrastructure alongside vehicle servicing.
Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, said that the collaboration underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to delivering “quality vehicles, inclusive pricing and exceptional after-sales” to Indian consumers. He emphasized that a robust service network is essential for building customer confidence.
Natarajan Srinivasan, CEO of myTVS, echoed these sentiments, stating that the partnership validates myTVS’s digital-first after-sales platform. He expressed confidence that the alliance will provide VinFast customers with accessible, transparent, and tech-enabled support across the country.
This initiative marks a key milestone in VinFast’s India strategy, complementing other support measures such as partnerships with Global Assure for roadside assistance and setting up its manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. Together, these efforts aim to establish a comprehensive EV ecosystem supporting production, sales, and long-term customer care.
