Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India announced the registrations open for the Honda Manesar-Half Marathon, a run to promote the cause of road safety.

This Half Marathon is a manifestation of the company’s commitment to Transformation for a Good Cause. In pursuance of HMSI’s vision to be a ‘Company which society wants to exist’, HMSI is dedicated to fulfilling its social objectives and by leveraging its strengths, HMSI will continue to lead the way in realizing a collision-free society from the standpoints of both hardware and software.

This event has the backing of numerous Manesar and Gurugram government officials, the IMT Manesar Industry Association, and numerous businesses located there. The cause of road safety will receive all of the event’s proceeds.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Atsushi Ogata, President and CEO of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, said, “As a company with safety ingrained in its DNA, this half marathon is being exclusively organized by HMSI, with the soul aim to educate and impart the knowledge on road safety to all age groups. Run for Road Safety is a large-scale movement designed to bring people together to promote safety, lessen traffic accidents, and create a collision-free society in India. Every action the participants take will help us achieve our objective of raising awareness about road safety through this marathon.

Popular fitness influencers Mr. Milind Soman and Ms. Mandira Bedi will also run the marathon to increase the participants’ enthusiasm and excitement.
The project aims to increase public awareness of road safety, make improvements to reduce traffic accidents, and support the Zero Fatality mission. There will be several categories for participants, including the 21.1 Km, 10 Km, 5 Km, and 3 Km Run for Senior citizens, to accommodate people of all age groups.
