VinFast, Vietnam’s leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has achieved a new milestone by delivering 20,380 vehicles in October 2025, the company’s highest-ever monthly figure. This surge pushed its total deliveries for the first ten months of the year to 124,264 reinforcing VinFast’s leadership in the domestic EV market.

The record-setting performance comes on the heels of VinFast making history earlier this year by becoming the first automaker in Vietnam to surpass 100,000 vehicle deliveries within nine months. The October figures highlight strengthened consumer confidence and a clear shift in Vietnam toward electric mobility.

Among VinFast’s most popular models, the VF 3 led the charge with 4,619 units sold, taking its 10-month tally to 36,005. Close behind was the VF 5, a city-friendly compact EV, delivering 4,450 units in October and reaching 35,406 for the year. Both models are favoured for their affordability and urban suitability.

VinFast’s larger EVs also saw good traction. The VF 6 recorded 2,524 deliveries in October, bringing its year-to-date number to 16,949, while the VF 7 saw 1,190 units sold in the month (totaling 7,067 so far). In the premium SUV category, the VF 9 continued to attract customers, with 1,477 units delivered in 2025 to date.

Commercial EVs contributed significantly to the growth too. The Limo Green, a seven-seater, achieved 4,160 deliveries in October, and an impressive 6,504 units in just three months. Another model, the Hero Green, posted 2,920 deliveries in October, lifting its ten-month total to 11,524. Notably, Hero Green recently won “Commercial Fleet Vehicle of the Year” at the Car Choice Awards 2025.

VinFast’s leadership expressed optimism about the results. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Sales and Marketing, said that selling more than 20,000 units in a single month – and over 124,000 in ten months – were “unprecedented figures” in Vietnam’s automotive sector. She added that these results reaffirm customers’ trust in VinFast’s products and its vision for greener mobility.

Looking ahead, VinFast is offering special incentives in November 2025 to further push EV adoption. Offers include up to 100 million VND for customers switching from petrol vehicles, 150 million VND support in storm-hit regions, gifts worth up to 50 million VND, and free charging at V-Green stations till June 2027. The company also plans to launch two new EV models — a compact EC Van for commercial use and a city-friendly Minio Green micro EV — before the year ends.
