Marstek has officially introduced its Venus B plug-in battery energy storage system, designed specifically for small solar installations and residential applications. The new solution aims to make energy storage simpler, smarter, and more accessible for homeowners looking to maximize their solar power usage.
The Venus B features a compact and ultra-slim design with a thickness of just around 8.6 cm, making it suitable for installations where space is limited. Its lightweight, wall-mounted structure allows for convenient installation without requiring complex modifications.
The system is equipped with a 1.5 kW bidirectional inverter and approximately 2 kWh of storage capacity, which is sufficient to support basic household energy requirements. Its plug-and-play capability allows users to quickly connect the system and begin storing solar energy with minimal technical effort.
Marstek has also integrated smart features such as mobile app monitoring and AI-based energy management, enabling users to track power consumption and optimize energy usage efficiently. The system also offers fast backup switching to ensure power availability during unexpected outages.
According to the company, the Venus B can help reduce electricity costs by intelligently managing when energy is stored and consumed. The product is also designed to support integration with smart home systems and future virtual power plant (VPP) networks, supporting broader grid participation.
With the launch of Venus B, Marstek continues to strengthen its presence in the residential energy storage segment. The company aims to support the growing adoption of small-scale solar solutions by offering practical, efficient, and user-friendly storage technologies.
