PeakAmp has entered into a strategic partnership with Pacto Power to provide end-to-end battery waste management solutions. The collaboration focuses on responsible disposal, compliance, and improving sustainability across the battery lifecycle ecosystem as battery adoption continues to grow across industries.
Under the agreement, PeakAmp will manage the complete battery waste lifecycle for Pacto Power. This includes collection, safe transportation, recycling through authorised channels, and ensuring compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations. The initiative aims to create a structured and transparent battery waste management framework.
As part of the partnership, both companies will also explore opportunities related to second-life battery applications. They will additionally look at collaboration opportunities in lithium-ion battery development to improve resource utilisation and strengthen circular economy practices.
PeakAmp Co-Founder and COO Aditya Sudhanshu highlighted that responsible battery waste handling is becoming increasingly important with rising battery usage. He noted that the partnership will help improve recycling execution, compliance processes, and operational transparency.
The collaboration is also expected to strengthen the formal recycling ecosystem by ensuring that battery waste moves through authorised recycling networks. This approach will help reduce informal recycling practices while improving recovery of valuable materials and enhancing lifecycle traceability.
Pacto Power Director Manoj Kushwaha stated that the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to responsible battery lifecycle management. Both companies believe such collaborations will support sustainability goals, improve environmental outcomes, and contribute to a more efficient battery waste management ecosystem.
