Youdha has unveiled EPOD-Bharat, a limited-edition version of its flagship L5 electric passenger three-wheeler. The special edition was showcased at the Bharat Vyapar Mahotsav at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. It features a hand-painted exterior inspired by traditional Warli art, with artwork depicting women, rural life, nature and community celebrations.

The EPOD-Bharat is based on Youdha’s existing L5 electric three-wheeler platform and retains the same mechanical package as the standard EPOD. It is powered by a 6 kW electric motor that delivers 50 Nm of torque and is paired with an 11.8 kWh lithium-ion LFP battery. The company claims a certified range of up to 227 km on a single charge.

The electric three-wheeler comes with City and Boost driving modes, giving users different operating options. It also features a 300 mm water-wading capacity, which is designed to support operation across varied Indian road and weather conditions. Youdha has positioned the EPOD for self-employed drivers and mobility entrepreneurs, with a focus on range, durability, performance and operating efficiency.

The standard Youdha EPOD is available at a starting price of ₹3.20 lakh. However, the company has not specified separate pricing or availability details for the limited-edition EPOD-Bharat. This keeps the special edition positioned primarily as a distinctive design-led version of the existing electric three-wheeler.

The EPOD is manufactured at Youdha’s production facility in Kashipur, Uttarakhand. The facility has an installed annual production capacity of 1,00,000 units and is equipped with automated assembly lines, end-of-line testing and quality-control systems. The manufacturing setup supports Youdha’s electric three-wheeler production.

With EPOD-Bharat, Youdha is bringing traditional Indian artwork to a modern electric mobility platform. The company says the initiative also highlights the contribution of women and traditional artisans while connecting Indian cultural heritage with the country’s growing electric mobility transition.
