EMO Energy, an Indian energy technology company developing battery and energy systems for commercial electric mobility, has reported 25,000 cumulative battery pack deployments in the second quarter of FY2026-27, covering July to September 2026. The total represents a 31.6% increase from the 19,000 battery packs reported as of June 30, 2026.

The company deployed approximately 6,000 battery packs during the quarter. The deployments were supported by continued adoption of its battery intelligence, energy management and charging solutions among commercial electric vehicle fleets with high utilisation requirements.

EMO Energy delivered 3,807 MWh of energy across its network during Q2 FY2026-27, registering a 35.4% increase over the previous quarter. Monthly energy delivery also grew by 16.3% during the quarter, rising from 1,161 MWh in July to 1,350 MWh in September.

The company’s technology platform supported 25.38 million electric vehicle deliveries across India and powered 126.9 million kilometres of travel during Q2. In the previous quarter, it supported 18.74 million deliveries and 93.69 million kilometres of travel. EMO Energy estimated that its operations helped avoid 7,868 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e) emissions during Q2, compared with 5,809 tonnes in Q1. The company stated that the emissions reduction was equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of approximately 375,000 trees.

Sheetanshu Tyagi, Co-founder of EMO Energy, said the quarter reflected the continued expansion of electric mobility and its supporting energy infrastructure. He highlighted the importance of battery intelligence, thermal management and energy orchestration in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of commercial electric vehicles as utilisation increases. The company is focused on developing technology to support this growth while improving energy efficiency and sustainability.

Founded in 2022 by Sheetanshu Tyagi and Rahul Patel, Bengaluru-based EMO Energy focuses on enabling electric vehicle adoption and developing energy infrastructure for commercial electric mobility. Its technology portfolio includes battery engineering, thermal management, battery intelligence, charging infrastructure and energy management. The company’s systems are designed for high-utilisation commercial electric vehicles, with a focus on charging performance, battery life, reliability and fleet economics.
