For its JMT 1000 SW electric scooter, Jitendra EV has disclosed that it has endorsed the LECCS (Light Electric Combined Charging System) connector. Light-electric vehicle (LEV) charging connectors are particularly built for them by LECCS, an Indian sketch. Consumers of Jitendra EVs will be fit to use Ather’s quick-charging network due to this endorsement, which will boost the development of electric vehicles in India.

With LECCS, the JMT 1000 SW model will have access to AtherGrid fast-charging stations. The JMT 1000 SW includes alloy wheels, tubeless tires, front and rear drum brakes, 255 kg gross vehicle weight, 150 kg payload capacity, and 175 mm of ground clearance.

The JMT 1000 SW is powered by the Energy Company battery which can travel 100 kilometers on a single charge, taking 50 minutes to completely charge. With features including a defect finding indicator, heat propagation alert, battery percentage indication, time to charge, and distance to empty, it has a cluster display. Other features include a USB charging port, three speed settings, and a reverse gear.

Currently, Ather’s fast-charging network is limited to the JMT 1000 SW, but Jitendra EV plans to add compatibility for additional models in the future. Jitendra EV is moving forward with commercial production to offer this technology to consumers around the nation following a successful pilot program in Goa.
