Epsilon Carbon Pvt. Ltd. has said that the incorporation of an electric truck fleet into its logistical operations represents a major step towards sustainability. This program establishes a standard for the sector and demonstrates Epsilon’s dedication to environmental care.

With the addition of five electric trucks to its fleet, Epsilon Carbon has made significant progress toward its goals of lowering carbon emissions and improving the sustainability of its logistical operations. Today’s paradigm shift towards environmental and ecological solutions has seen the EV industry emerge as a driver of a better, cleaner future. India’s electric vehicle (EV) market is poised for explosive growth, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 66% predicted to reach $200 billion by 2030.

“India’s road logistics industry plays a vital role in the overall economy, handling 70% of domestic freight,” stated Vikram Handa, Managing Director of Epsilon Carbon. We understand the significance of incorporating sustainability issues through electric trucks as responsible leaders in the chemical business, demonstrating our proactive commitment to reducing our environmental effect. This program also demonstrates our backing for India’s audacious plan to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2070.

With a 258 kWh battery capacity and 185 km of range, all five of the vehicles are Heavy-Duty models that will provide an easy transition to electric logistics. The incorporation of electric trucks is consistent with Epsilon Carbon’s overarching sustainability objectives, which encompass diminishing the carbon impact of its activities and embracing more environmentally friendly technology throughout the supply chain.
