The “SUZUKI-TATA ELXSI Offshore Development Center” was opened in Pune, India, by Suzuki Motor Corporation, a multinational mobility manufacturer based in Japan, and Tata Elxsi, a world leader in design and technology services. This specialized facility will propel Suzuki’s cutting-edge engineering advances, influencing the direction of mobility in the future.
By supporting Suzuki’s objectives for sustainable innovation in lightweight design, safety, style, and engineering, eco-friendly materials, and sophisticated simulations to increase time-to-market, Tata Elxsi will help the company realize its green mobility vision. In order to promote energy-efficient solutions for electric, hybrid, and alternative fuel vehicles, the alliance will also concentrate on software-defined vehicles and next-generation powertrains.
Katsuhiro Kato, Suzuki’s chief technology officer, emphasized the center’s significance as a central element of Suzuki’s innovation strategy during the inauguration.
