Before introducing a new line of particularly built electric vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra will test out its new “Electric Origin” EVs in key towns and cities with a revamped showroom and a new user interface.
Because of the limited EV penetration, M&M will upgrade its present channel rather than creating a dedicated EV network. The front fascia of the refurbished dealer outlets will be equipped with a brand-new LED panel signboard.
The new EV-only BEV emblem and the ICE twin peak logo will alternatively be displayed on the signboard’s electrically controlled LED panels. The EVs will be unveiled during the “Unlimit India” event.
The EVs will be shown in the showroom alongside the company’s ICE cars in a dedicated EV section with an inverted LED screen on the ceiling. The EV section will provide an explanation of the INGLO electric vehicle architecture, which forms the basis of its forthcoming XEV 9e and BE 6e models with a 400–500 km driving range. It is anticipated that these new EVs, which may cost around Rs 25 lakh, will complement the range of gasoline and diesel engines.
Two of our Electric Origin vehicles, the BE 6e and XEV 9e, are set to launch on November 26, 2024, and are ready to usher in a new era of Indian icons ready to fundamentally alter the country’s electric SUV market.
