Valvoline, a global supplier of automotive fluids, has announced plans to launch EV fluids in India. The company provides EV fluids for battery electric vehicles (BEVs), hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) globally. According to a press release from the business, Valvoline scientists have collaborated with technology pioneers, original equipment manufacturers, researchers, and industry groups to develop suitable EV fluids and solutions.
The government of India is committed to encouraging the adoption of EVs and has set a goal of having 30% of all cars on the road be EVs by 2030, which is fueling the growth of the EV industry in the country.
By 2035, McKinsey predicts that there will be a noticeable increase in the number of electric vehicles on the road. By 2035, it is anticipated that the market for EVs, including BEVs, HEVs, and PHEVs, will increase at a CAGR of about 20%.
“The industry will see robust demand for EVs in the coming years,” said Sandeep Kalia, MD and CEO of Valvoline India, “and we are prioritizing how to best meet every vehicle owner’s need.”
