KAL (Kerala Automobile Limited), the government-owned automobile manufacturer, announced a long-term partnership with ARENQ, India’s rapidly expanding manufacturer and distributor of storage batteries, to supply motors, motor controllers, and batteries for all of their vehicles. Additionally, the businesses will collaborate on R&D to create new designs and products.

Additionally, ARENQ and KAL have formed a three-year partnership for the purpose of distributing electric vehicles in Kerala and Maharashtra.

Speaking on the brand collaboration, V G Anil, Head of Operations, ARENQ, said, “We are delighted to partner with Kerala Automobile Limited, which has the potential to transform the automotive industry across the country. As of now, we are their E-vehicle distributor in Kerala and Maharashtra, and we will soon expand our footprint across India. This is our first-ever association, and we look forward to working together and taking our business to new heights.”

P.V. Saseendran, MD, Kerala Automobiles Limited said, “Our newly formed association will help fulfill our battery requirements for our vehicles. While we have been supplying three-wheelers for quite some time now, this partnership will also help bolster the distribution of e-vehicles with constant support from ARENQ. We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to working with them.”
