Atul Greentech Private Limited (AGPL), a subsidiary of Atul Auto, has entered into a strategic partnership with Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited (ARE&M) to enhance electric vehicle (EV) battery solutions. This collaboration aims to strengthen India’s EV ecosystem by leveraging Amara Raja’s advanced battery technologies to support AGPL’s electric three-wheeler offerings.

Under this agreement, Amara Raja will supply lithium-ion battery packs tailored for AGPL’s electric vehicles. The batteries will be produced at Amara Raja’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, ensuring high-quality and reliable energy solutions. This partnership is poised to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in India, particularly in the last-mile transportation segment.

Vijay Kedia, Director at Atul Auto Ltd., emphasized the significance of this collaboration, stating, “With the integration of domestically manufactured lithium-ion cells, this MoU not only strengthens India’s self-reliance but also sets the stage for a sustainable and innovative future in electric mobility.” He highlighted the role of such partnerships in driving the nation forward towards cleaner transportation solutions.

Amara Raja’s commitment to innovation and sustainability aligns with AGPL’s vision of providing efficient and eco-friendly transportation options. By combining their expertise, both companies aim to develop battery solutions that cater to the specific needs of the Indian market, ensuring performance, affordability, and environmental benefits.

This alliance marks a significant milestone in India’s journey towards electrification of transportation. As the demand for electric vehicles continues to rise, collaborations like this between AGPL and Amara Raja are crucial in building a robust and self-reliant EV infrastructure, contributing to the nation’s sustainable development goals.
