Yulu unveiled its new e-bike at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. This new product was designed, developed, and built entirely by Chakan-based Bajaj, which owns a stake in Yulu. In the market, Bajaj also sells the Chetak electric scooter.
The new Yulu e-bike is a Bajaj-designed machine that is completely different from the previous Chinese-origin model. Bajaj, which also manufactured components for the e-bike, localized and toughened up the second version of the product for our environment. This time, however, Bajaj designed the Yulu e-bike from the ground up with our needs in mind. However, no technical information has been released as of yet.
“We are very excited about the potential of our plug-and-play solutions to build green, scalable, and profitable businesses around urban mobility,” said Amit Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Yulu. So the goal now is to take them around the world with the right partners.” The Yulu e-bike is designed for short intra-city trips, last-mile deliveries, and business needs.
