Battery Smart, a battery switching network for electric two- and three-wheelers, has declared that it has overshadowed 1 lakh daily switches on its network of over 50,000 drivers.

With the opening of its first exchange station in June 2020 in Janakpuri, New Delhi, Battery Smart has quickly grown its network, and as of right now, it has 1,100 stations distributed over more than 30 Indian cities. With more than 40 million swaps completed to date, the firm has become the industry leader in the battery changing market.

“More than 1 lakh exchanges every day is a testament to our clients’ faith in us and the dependability of our network. This achievement shows that battery switching is becoming more and more recognized as a practical and effective way to accelerate the deployment of electric vehicles while also reducing costs. Additionally, it confirms our dedication to creating a dense network of swap stations so that EV users can always find a station within a kilometer and experience no wait times. We are appreciative of the government’s and our partners’ ongoing support, which has been crucial to our expansion.

With Battery Smart’s battery-as-a-service solution, electric vehicle users may save up to 40% on upfront expenditures and travel farther between charges with two-minute battery swaps. The company’s asset-light strategy makes use of the infrastructure already in place from Indian SMBs to quickly establish swap stations, enhancing the standard of living for neighborhood business owners and establishing a strong support network for the expanding EV industry.
