BAXY Mobility has introduced a new range of electric three-wheelers in an attempt to expand its market position in India’s emerging electric vehicle industry. The new lineup includes both passenger and cargo electric three-wheelers that use lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries. The models range from entry-level options to higher-performance variants, catering to a variety of consumer needs in terms of cost and capability.

BAXY Mobility has a history of manufacturing three-wheelers with electric power and internal combustion engines (ICE), and it has been involved in last-mile delivery and shared mobility. The company’s ongoing efforts to help India transition to greener forms of transportation include the introduction of this range of electric three-wheelers.

In reference to the importance of the event, Shiv Bakshi, Managing Director of BAXY Limited, stated, “This launch is an important step for us as we continue to work toward making sustainable mobility accessible to more people in India.”

Kumar Ramamurthi, the CEO of BAXY Mobility, emphasized the company’s focus on offering solutions that are both cost-effective and environmentally sustainable. “This range meets our customers’ evolving needs by providing reliable and efficient options for both urban and rural mobility,” he stated.

The new electric three-wheelers are promoted as energy-efficient alternatives to traditional cars, with a focus on affordability and environmental responsibility. The new vehicles were showcased during the “Charge karo, chal pado” launch event, which also emphasized how well they could meet the demands of both urban and rural transportation markets.
