BLive declared on Tuesday that the “BeLive EZY EV Rental Programme” would begin. The project, according to the company, is designed for last-mile transportation partners and takes care of the financial obstacles that delivery riders seeking to switch to electric vehicles (EVs) face.
One of the main components of BLive’s offering is the “Rent to Own” option. This strategy will encourage long-term sustainability and eco-friendly transportation options by allowing users to transfer into EV ownership following a 36-month rental period.
The program will facilitate the changeover to electric vehicles by providing competitive rates and flexible terms, as stated in its official announcement. Weekly rentals will start at 1500 rupees.
High-quality EVs from manufacturers like TVS, Ather, Bounce, and Revolt will be available through the program. Among the key advantages for riders are fuel savings of up to 90%, no extra fees for maintenance and insurance, and the possibility of ownership at the conclusion of the lease.
The company claims that current trends indicate a broader acceptance of EVs in the last-mile delivery market. High interest rates and complicated financing procedures are challenges that many delivery agents must overcome. They will be able to overcome obstacles like the need for a high CIBIL score in order to get approved for a loan thanks to the program.
Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Goa are the five cities where the EV Rental Project is presently active. For last-mile delivery riders, more than 200 EVs are in use. In order to support its effort to electrify last-mile mobility, BLive plans to deploy 10,000 EVs over the course of the upcoming year and is actively seeking additional franchisee partners.
“The BLive EZY EV Rental Program is a step forward in making electric vehicles more accessible, providing a cost-effective and hassle-free way for riders to own their EVs,” says Samarth Kholkar, the founder of BLive. In addition to empowering riders, we think this program will have a big impact on lowering carbon emissions in our cities.
BLive uses its AI-enabled platform to partner with fleet operators in India to provide last-mile mobility solutions.
