Borzo (previously WeFast) has created a fleet of electric three-wheelers to offer environmentally friendly city logistics choices. The goal of this initiative is to give local customers and businesses more environmentally friendly delivery options while also improving flexibility and efficiency in the volumetric distribution market.

The electric three-wheelers will be used in Mumbai initially, with plans to extend to Delhi. These trucks can handle lightweight deliveries up to 500 kg in weight. As part of its broader sustainability goal, Borzo plans to electrify 30% of its fleet of three-wheelers. Additionally, the business intends to include four-wheelers that can transport up to 750 kg of cargo, such as tempos and mini trucks.

To ensure smooth operations, Borzo will provide gig delivery partners who own their cars flexible work schedules and exceptional operational efficiency. The company will also collaborate with electric vehicle (EV) service providers to enhance performance and reliability. This approach aligns with Borzo’s goal of reducing carbon emissions and operating an eco-friendly logistics network.

In addition to electrifying its fleet, Borzo plans to employ aggressive marketing strategies, such business-to-business coupon codes, to promote its new 3-wheeler and truck delivery services. The company just began performing 3-wheeler, compact vehicle, and tempo deliveries with the aim of enrolling 1,500 delivery partners for this category.

Currently, Borzo operates a fleet of over 60,000 delivery partners across India to meet the logistics needs of hyperlocal and SME businesses.
