11 years have proceeded since BYD India, a BYD affiliate, revealed its first electric bus in Chennai in 2013.
In just one month, the company claims that over 600 bookings have been placed for both the new BYD ATTO 3 variants and the Cosmos Black edition. In response, BYD India has extended the first pricing offer for the BYD ATTO 3 Dynamic version.
Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles Business at BYD India, said the response to the new models shows how much demand there is in India for cutting-edge electric vehicles. He clarified that the extended pricing offer’s objective is to make the cars more accessible to prospective buyers.
As per the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands 2024 study, BYD has maintained its place in the Top 10 global automotive brands and has risen to the 143rd rank in the Fortune Global 500 rankings. The company reports having produced over 8 million New Energy Vehicles worldwide, which it declares has presented to a decline of over 62 billion kilograms of carbon emissions.
BYD India unveiled the BYD ATTO 3, an all-electric SUV, to the Indian market. With a single charge, it can travel up to 521 kilometers thanks to its 60.48 kWh battery pack. A permanent magnet synchronous motor with 201 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque powers the car.
The ATTO 3 boasts a sleek, contemporary bodywork with LED lighting and a standout front grille. A digital instrument cluster and a revolving 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen are featured inside. Seven airbags, ABS with EBD, and multiple driver aid systems make up the safety features.
The ATTO 3 has several versions available from the firm, including a Cosmos Black edition. In a short amount of time, the company has recorded sizable reservations for these new variations. BYD India has extended the introductory rate offer for the Dynamic edition of the ATTO 3 in an effort to draw in more customers.
