Cadillac upcoming LYRIQ-V electric SUV will come equipped with Continental’s PremiumContact 6 tires, further cementing the partnership between the renowned U.S. automaker and the German tire manufacturer. These 22-inch tires will serve as original equipment, designed to support the high performance expected from the LYRIQ-V.

Continental’s PremiumContact 6 tires are crafted for superior grip and handling, ensuring high cornering stability and responsiveness. This tire design is crucial for electric vehicles, like the LYRIQ-V, that demand precise steering and fast response times. Their special silica rubber compound guarantees excellent braking performance on both wet and dry roads, making them suitable for various driving conditions.

In addition to enhancing driving dynamics, the PremiumContact 6 tires focus on optimizing energy efficiency. With low rolling resistance, they contribute to the LYRIQ-V’s energy conservation, boosting the vehicle’s overall battery performance and range. This aligns with Cadillac’s commitment to delivering high-performance electric vehicles with sustainability in mind.

Continental’s expertise in tire development is evident through its focus on low noise, high mileage, and performance capabilities, addressing the unique demands of electric vehicles. The company is already a trusted supplier to many of the world’s top EV manufacturers, with 18 of the 20 highest-volume electric vehicle makers using Continental tires.

With this strategic partnership, Cadillac and Continental are set to push the boundaries of electric vehicle performance, ensuring that the LYRIQ-V delivers not only power but also exceptional efficiency and safety on the road.
