CHARGE+ZONE has solidified its position as India’s largest electric vehicle (EV) charging platform, with over 1,600 charging stations spanning more than 15,000 kilometers of highways across the country. The company operates over 3,500 charging points across 37 cities and has ambitious plans to expand to one million charging points by 2030.

In a significant move to enhance India’s EV infrastructure, CHARGE+ZONE has announced plans to invest $360 million over the next four years. This investment aims to establish 500 supercharging stations with capacities ranging from 360 kW to 1.2 MW, catering to electric buses, trucks, and personal vehicles. The company has already launched India’s first-ever 360 kW supercharging stations in Mumbai and Vellore, featuring advanced liquid-cooled charging guns capable of delivering up to 500 A DC current.

CHARGE+ZONE’s expansion strategy includes transforming national highways into renewable energy corridors by integrating solar panels and battery storage systems at charging stations. This approach not only ensures sustainable operations but also reduces charging times, with vehicles achieving 80% charge in as little as 30 minutes.

The company has formed strategic partnerships with major automotive manufacturers, including Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai. In collaboration with Evnnovator, CHARGE+ZONE has integrated its charging network with Mercedes-Benz’s infrastructure, providing seamless access to approximately 500 charging points nationwide through the FICH app. Similarly, the partnership with Hyundai aims to install 100 DC fast chargers across Hyundai dealerships in India.

CHARGE+ZONE’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its efforts to power charging stations with renewable energy sources. The company has contributed to saving over 25,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions and plans to have a significant number of its chargers powered by renewable energy by 2030.

With its rapid expansion, strategic partnerships, and focus on sustainable energy solutions, CHARGE+ZONE is playing a pivotal role in accelerating India’s transition to electric mobility and establishing a robust EV charging infrastructure nationwide.
