Creatara Mobility has announced the launch of its first production-ready electric scooters, the IN40 and VM4, with bookings now open and deliveries expected to commence in the coming months.
The IN40 model is tailored for the business-to-business market, while the VM4 is designed for personal mobility. Both models offer a range of 150 kilometers on a single charge and can reach a top speed of 110 km/h. They are available in versions utilizing 48V and high-voltage 72V electrical systems, with battery capacities of 2.3 kWh and 4.3 kWh.
Equipped with intelligent, flexible, and secure control systems that incorporate artificial intelligence, these scooters aim to enhance efficiency, personalize the riding experience, and bolster security. The company also offers interchangeable and portable battery packs for convenient charging using existing infrastructure.
Creatara emphasizes that these locally designed and manufactured scooters are suitable for various commercial applications as well as personal use. The company has established a production facility in Haryana for manufacturing these models. While pricing details have not been disclosed, the company indicates that the scooters will be priced to qualify for government demand incentives.
To support the development, testing, production, and distribution of its vehicles, Creatara has secured $1 million in funding led by GEMS Partners, with additional investments from Sona Comstar, the Department of Science, and the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
