The newest invention from E-Fuel is a 20kW portable DC charger that was fully created and engineered in India. This charger, which has wheels for convenient mobility and a display to track charging conditions, is perfect for use in homes and fleets when commercial use is not necessary.

With its recent increase in production capacity to 20,000 chargers yearly, E-Fuel is still leading the way in EV innovation. “We’ve seen 3x growth over the last two financial years, and as major OEM orders come through, we are anticipating revenue of ₹12-15 crore this year,” said Himanshu Patel, the founder of E-Fuel.

Important characteristics:

Economical & Design:

The emphasis is on how cost-effective it is, implying that it offers good functionality at a competitive price. Because of its portability, users seeking a convenient charging solution can use it in a variety of settings and transfer it with ease.

Adaptable Choice:

With its 20kW at 67A output, the charger is highly flexible and can provide a significant amount of power to charge electric vehicles. Its aesthetically pleasing, ergonomic, and configurable design allows it to be tailored to the demands of many users. The charger’s compatibility with various EV models is increased by supporting CCS-2 charging cables, which are commonly used for charging electric vehicles.

Security:

The apparatus boasts an emergency stop button that incorporates eighteen distinct protective measures, guaranteeing the user’s safety while in use. It is also appropriate for outdoor and indoor use due to its strong IK10/IP54 ingress protection, which offers durability against environmental variables.

Basic Function:

The charger’s easy-to-use operation is the main topic of this section. RFID cards provide a simple way to initiate and terminate the charging process. With its LED indicators, the Simple HMI (Human-Machine Interface) gives the user unambiguous, understandable feedback. In order to guarantee safety during prolonged usage or in hot weather, the charger also has an over-temperature protection feature.

For E-Fuel, this is a big step toward utilizing domestically developed technologies to boost the uptake of electric vehicles.
