EKA Mobility has been given two orders worth more than ₹150 crore by the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). The orders for supply and maintenance include thirty EKA 9-meter AC electric buses and forty EKA 12-meter AC electric buses. These vehicles are designed to enhance UPSRTC’s fleet with environmentally friendly features that prioritize passenger comfort, safety, and operational effectiveness. The company will also provide chargers to guarantee smooth operations. Both projects contain a long-term annual maintenance contract (AMC) to ensure consistent performance over the next decade.
Rohit Srivastava, Chief Growth Officer of EKA Mobility, expressed the company’s commitment to working with UPSRTC to improve the public transportation infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh. According to him, the orders demonstrate EKA Mobility’s focus on offering sustainable and efficient mobility solutions in India.
These new additions to UPSRTC’s fleet are expected to aid in the state’s shift to cleaner and more sustainable transportation systems.
