The electric MINI Cooper models have earned a prestigious 5-star safety rating in the latest Euro NCAP tests, solidifying their reputation as one of the safest choices in their segment. This accolade highlights MINI ongoing commitment to safety and innovation in urban electric mobility.

Euro NCAP, the European New Car Assessment Programme, continuously raises safety standards with the goal of eliminating road fatalities in Europe. This year, the tests included stricter evaluations, especially focusing on pedestrian and cyclist protection, making this achievement significant.

The fifth-generation MINI Cooper Electric impressed the panel with its outstanding safety features. It scored 89% for adult occupant protection, a figure typically seen in larger vehicle classes, and 87% for child safety, demonstrating its robust family-friendly design.

In addition to occupant protection, the MINI Cooper Electric earned a solid 77% for pedestrian safety, underscoring its commitment to safeguarding all road users. The vehicle’s advanced driver assistance systems contributed significantly to the 79% score for safety assist features.

The Euro NCAP’s rigorous testing also highlights how the electric MINI models integrate cutting-edge technology to provide an exceptional safety performance. This includes innovative systems designed to prevent accidents and enhance the vehicle’s overall reliability.

The 5-star Euro NCAP rating is a testament to MINI’s focus on safety as a top priority in their electric vehicle lineup, reinforcing their position in the competitive urban mobility market. This achievement also sets a benchmark for other electric vehicle manufacturers aiming to provide both innovation and safety.
