In a major boost to electric fleet adoption in South India, Enigma EV, one of India’s fastest-growing electric two-wheeler makers, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with integrated mobility-as-a-service platform evPe to put 1,000 purpose-built e-bikes on the road this calendar year. The rollout starts immediately with an initial batch of 200 bikes for fleet and gig riders in Hyderabad, then scales to other high-demand cities over the next two quarters.

This collaboration marks Enigma’s formal entry into the Hyderabad market and supports evPe’s mission of making electric mobility efficient, accessible, and reliable for gig workers, fleet operators, and intra-city commuters.

“Our partnership with evPe is a significant milestone not only in our South India expansion but also in building deeper B2B ecosystems across the country,” said Anmol Bohhre, Co-founder & CEO, Enigma EV. “The MoU for 1,000 electric bikes this year reflects the shared vision and trust between our teams. Our machines are designed for uptime reinforced chassis, optimized BMS, and fast-track servicing to meet the real-world demands of fleet operators and gig workers alike and this MoU underlines our plan to cross 10,000 fleet sales by FY 2026.”

Established in 2015, Enigma EV has grown into a trusted name in the Indian EV landscape, serving marquee institutions including the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and BARC. With an aggressive growth strategy in the B2B segment, Enigma is targeting 21,000 unit sales over the next two years, with Hyderabad playing a key role in this roadmap.

evPe offers an all-in-one EV ecosystem tailored for shared and fleet mobility. Its platform integrates leasing, financing, charging infrastructure, insurance, and end-of-life vehicle management, delivering end-to-end support for sustainable fleet operations.

“We believe electric mobility has to be reliable and revenue-generating for the riders—and Enigma checks all the boxes,” said Rohan Yeggina, Founder & CEO, evPe. “With 200 bikes already on the road, this partnership is off to a strong start. The 1,000-bike MoU shows our long-term intent: to scale electric fleets with dependable partners like Enigma who know what it takes to keep vehicles running—and riders earning.”

Together, Enigma EV and evPe aim to redefine urban mobility in Hyderabad and beyond, creating a cleaner, smarter, and more inclusive transportation future for India.
