New Zealand electric vehicle (EV) charging framework producer Evnex says it has now launched 1,000 EV chargers in Australia and is considering to enhance performances in the nation in the coming year.
Over 6,000 of Evnex’s smart charging units have been installed in Australia and New Zealand, and the company plans to install an additional 7,000 over the course of the upcoming year, more than doubling that total. Polestar and CommBank have designated it as their preferred home charging partner.
Although the company will continue to operate in New Zealand, Ed Harvey, the founder and CEO of Evnex, claims that the company’s primary focus has shifted to Australia.
Harvey stated, “We have plans to significantly scale up our presence in Australia because we see a huge opportunity in the Australian market.”
According to Harvey, users can take advantage of cheaper power rates and lessen the need for fossil fuels in the energy producing process by charging their smart charging devices during off-peak hours.
