Excitement Builds on Day 2 of 21st EV Expo 2024

The second day of the 21st EV Expo 2024 at Pragati Maidan witnessed an overwhelming response, with a large number of visitors thronging the venue to explore the latest advancements in the electric vehicle (EV) industry. The vibrant atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as people not only admired the extensive display of EVs but also got an opportunity to test and experience some of them firsthand.

The Expo, spread across Hall Nos. 1 and 2, has established itself as India’s premier platform for showcasing innovative electric mobility solutions, components, and technologies. With over 200 exhibitors participating, the event is buzzing with activity as industry leaders, policymakers, and EV enthusiasts gather under one roof to discuss, collaborate, and advance sustainable mobility.

Prominent Visits Mark the Day

Adding to the excitement, Ms. Smriti Irani, former Minister of Education, visited the Expo today. She displayed keen interest in the diverse range of EVs and associated products showcased at the event. Her visit underscored the importance of the EV sector in shaping a sustainable and eco-friendly future for India.

Mr. Daya Shankar Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Transport, Uttar Pradesh, also graced the Expo with his presence. He interacted with exhibitors and expressed his support for the innovations driving the EV industry.

A Wide Range of Offerings at the Expo

Visitors were treated to an impressive lineup of electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, and commercial vehicles, including e-scooters, e-bikes, e-rickshaws, e-tractors, and loaders. The event also featured state-of-the-art batteries, charging infrastructure, and cutting-edge EV components, providing a glimpse into the future of electric mobility.

The hands-on experience of driving and testing EVs added a unique element to the event, allowing visitors to truly engage with the technology and understand its potential in revolutionizing transportation.

The 21st EV Expo 2024 is being held at Hall Nos. 1 and 2, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from December 20 to 22, 2024, with timings from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Tomorrow marks the final day of the Expo, offering visitors one last chance to explore the latest innovations in electric mobility.
