Exicom, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging and critical power solutions in India, has unveiled its latest innovation: the Harmony Gen 1.5 DC Fast Charger. Claimed to be the country’s fastest, this charger offers power outputs ranging from 60 kW to 400 kW, catering to a broad spectrum of EVs. The modular design allows for flexible installation across various locations, including malls, city infrastructure, and office complexes.

Designed with user convenience in mind, the Harmony Gen 1.5 features an advanced AI-driven remote management system for predictive maintenance and remote fault diagnostics, significantly enhancing uptime for Charge Point Operators (CPOs). Additional user-centric features include an ergonomic cable management system, integrated ambient lighting for better visibility, and compliance with PAS standards to ensure accessibility for physically disabled individuals.

Built to withstand India’s challenging environmental conditions, the charger operates efficiently in extreme temperatures and salt-laden environments. Its wide input voltage range makes it resilient to grid fluctuations, ensuring reliable performance across diverse settings.

With an efficiency rating exceeding 95%, the Harmony Gen 1.5 is suitable for a variety of vehicles, from lightweight cars to heavy-duty buses. The charger is constructed from premium-grade steel, guaranteeing long-term durability and a strong return on investment for stakeholders such as CPOs, OEMs, and dealerships. For international markets, it also includes a credit card payment terminal.

Anant Nahata, CEO of Exicom, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions. He stated, “Our focus remains on creating a seamless, frictionless experience for users and infrastructure owners alike. With over 4,500 DC chargers successfully installed, we’re bridging the demand-supply gap and empowering EV drivers to confidently embrace electric mobility.”

As the EV market continues to grow, the demand for fast-charging solutions is on the rise. According to a report by MarketsandMarkets, the global DC fast charging market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 37.6% between 2020 and 2025. Exicom is expanding its reach beyond India into Southeast Asian countries like Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia, as well as Europe, supporting the global EV ecosystem’s growth.
