Collaboration with Veera Vahana Boosts Electric Bus Fleet
Exponent’s push into the EV market is strengthened by its partnership with Veera Vahana, an established bus manufacturer. The collaboration, announced in August 2024, focuses on enhancing intercity electric buses with rapid charging capabilities. This move is expected to significantly reduce downtime for electric buses, addressing a key challenge faced by the EV industry and advancing the shift to electric public transport in India.
Proprietary Technology Ensures Faster, Reliable Charging
Founded in 2020 by Arun Vinayak and Sanjay Balyal, Exponent Energy has developed a proprietary ecosystem that includes the e^pack battery pack, e^pump charging station, and e^plug connector. The system enables a rapid 15-minute charge, with a 3000-cycle warranty that exceeds industry standards for durability and performance.
