EV infrastructure and services across its network, automaker Citroen India has partnered with Jio-bp. A joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and bp focused on fuels and mobility. Phased installations of DC fast chargers will be made by Jio-bp at key Citroen dealerships and workshops across the nation. To encourage greater consumer adoption of EVs, these chargers will also be accessible to all EV car owners.
This partnership will guarantee that the My Citroen Connect app can access Jio-charging bp’s infrastructure network when the New Citroen e-C3 All Electric goes on sale in Q1 2023.
Jio-bp is creating an electric mobility ecosystem that will benefit stakeholders across the EV value chain and is expanding its Jio-bp pulse-branded EV charging network by setting up charging facilities at multiple touch points within cities and major highways to ensure smooth intra-city and inter-city commutes for EV owners. Citroen has a presence in 101 countries and a network of 6,200 points of sale and service throughout the world.
