Green Energy ON, the future technologies arm of Kabra Extrusiontechnik Ltd., has entered the L3 aftermarket segment, launching high-performance lithium-ion battery packs tailored for electric three‑wheelers such as e‑rickshaws.

The new L3 aftermarket battery packs address a widening demand among early adopters of electric three‑wheelers who seek reliable and affordable replacement batteries. Designed to balance performance, durability and cost, these packs offer an efficient power solution for passenger and goods mobility across urban and semi-urban India.

With over 350,000 battery packs already deployed nationwide, Geon has significantly helped enhance vehicle uptime, productivity and operational efficiency within India’s e‑mobility ecosystem. The newly launched products are now commercially available through Geon’s extensive network of authorised dealers, distributors and resellers.

Speaking on the launch, Anand Kabra, Vice‑Chairman and Managing Director of Kabra Extrusiontechnik and Geon, said the move aligns with the company’s vision to empower India’s e‑mobility growth. He emphasised the aim to offer high‑quality, affordable battery solutions to small business owners and e‑rickshaw operators nationwide.

Kabra added that Geon’s strong service and support ecosystem, alongside robust dealer partnerships, will ensure solutions that meet evolving mobility needs. “The L3 segment has played a pivotal role in transforming urban and semi‑urban mobility, and we are committed to supporting its growth with reliable, future‑ready technologies,” he said.

To widen access, Geon is expanding its dealer and distribution network across key EV markets in India. This plan aims to ensure wide availability and prompt servicing support, reinforcing its position in the growing aftermarket for electric three‑wheelers.
