The Bharat Battery Show, a part of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, is anticipated to attract over 100 companies from several nations, including the USA, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, and India. Over 500,000 people from more than 50 countries are expected to attend the event, which will be held from January 19–21, 2025, in the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The event, which will showcase developments in the energy storage and mobility sectors, is being organized by the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) with support from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. It will showcase developments in lithium-ion batteries, battery components, charging infrastructure, battery management systems (BMS), and recycling methods, among other things. The event is seen as a significant turning point in making India a dominant player in the global energy storage and mobility business.
The event will be hosted by the IESA, a significant industry partner, which will highlight India’s developments in battery technology, clean mobility, and sustainable energy solutions. In addition to the Bharat Battery Show, IESA will sponsor two pre-conference events: the 4th India Battery Manufacturing & Supply Chain Summit (IBMSCS) on January 16–17, 2025, and the India Battery Recycling & Re-Use Summit (IBRRS) on January 18, 2025.
At the occasion, a number of companies will unveil new developments. For instance, PolyProticChemicals will launch MetScav 90, a phosphinic acid-based extractant used to extract cobalt and nickel from spent lithium-ion batteries. Bolt Earth, one of India’s leading EV charging networks, will launch the Blaze DC fast charger for two-wheelers, which can deliver up to 35 km of energy in just 15 minutes.
