VIDA, the subsidiary of Hero MotoCorp, has initiated operations of its public charging infrastructure in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Jaipur.
The company has installed nearly 300 VIDA charging stations at 50 locations across the three cities. Customers can charge their scooter‘s battery at 1.2 km/min thanks to VIDA’s fast public charging network. There will be DC and AC charging connections at each charging point.
According to Dr. Swadesh Srivastava, Head of Hero MotoCorp’s Emerging Mobility Business Unit, “We installed VIDA’s world-class EV charging infrastructure prior to the start of VIDA V1 deliveries in all three cities. As part of our commitment to creating a “Worry-free EV ecosystem,” we are making sure that customers’ transition to EVs is seamless and painless.
Customers can complete their entire charging process using the mobile app “My VIDA.” They can use the app to find the closest charging station, check its availability, reserve a spot for charging and find their way there. Additionally, the App will be used to manage the entire payment process. Customers can test-drive the Vida V1 at VIDA’s experience centres in Bengaluru, Jaipur, and pop-up shops in Delhi-National Capital Region.
