Honda has officially launched the N-Van e:, a fully electric compact van developed for practical urban use and light commercial needs in Japan. With a starting price of ¥2,439,800 (approx. ₹13 lakh), the N-Van e: combines compact dimensions with utility-focused features tailored for delivery services and small businesses.

The electric van retains the beloved boxy design of the original N-Van but now incorporates a zero-emission electric powertrain. The highlight is its flat floor and pillarless side structure, allowing easy loading and unloading, especially from the passenger side. The van also offers multiple seating layouts, including a single-seater version with maximum cargo space.

Powered by a 100V standard AC charger, the N-Van e: delivers a range of up to 245 km (WLTC) on a full charge. Honda also offers quick-charging support, making the model suitable for both short city runs and multiple delivery cycles in a day.

The N-Van e: is available in four trims: L4, FUN, L2, and G. The FUN variant is targeted at personal users with added comfort features, while the L2 and G trims are optimized for commercial use with a single front seat and flat cargo area. A 50:50 split rear seat and ample cabin storage improve flexibility across all variants.

Honda plans to begin deliveries in October 2024, with expectations of high demand from Japan’s urban logistics and personal EV segments. The van’s simple yet smart interior design includes connectivity features, safety tech, and silent cabin operation, enhancing both comfort and practicality.

With the launch of the N-Van e:, Honda reinforces its strategy to lead in compact EVs for daily and commercial applications. The company continues to focus on creating environment-friendly vehicles that blend Japanese urban sensibilities with modern electric efficiency.
