The largest electric vehicle (EV) rally in India, Rall-E kicked off Hyderabad e-Mobility Week. Thousands of enthusiasts rode their electric bikes, cars, buses, and even autos through various parts of the city as part of the first-of-its-kind Rall-E, which sought to highlight the state’s progress in EV adoption and to promote sustainable mobility.
Principal Secretary for Industries and Commerce Jayesh Ranjan, along with actor-writer Adivi Sesh, director Nag Ashwin, and other business leaders, flagged off the rally. Gravton Motors’ Sheraaz and Rahul stole the show with their unique e-bike stunt.
The EV rally began at People’s Plaza and ended at Hitex with a concert by Band Buddies (formerly Rooh), Jammers Band, and lyricist Krishna Chaitanya.
The rally drew participation from government organisations such as TSRTC, as well as industry partners such as Apollo Tyres, Gravton Motors, Citroen, TVS, Ola, Ather, Uber, MG Motors, Mahindra, Quantum, Atum Motors, Bud-e Bikes, Pure EV, and Eto.
Speaking about the event, Parshuram Paka, CEO of Gravton Motors, a supporting partner of the event, said that the initiative will support and promote the message of sustainable mobility not just in the city but at the national level. Hyderabad E-Mobility week will provide an exhilarating experience to all EV enthusiasts, he said.
