Hyundai Motor Company debuted its revolutionary three-row all-electric SUV, the IONIQ 9, at the renowned Goldstein House in Los Angeles. The IONIQ 9 has the potential to revolutionize electric mobility because to its spacious cabin, cutting-edge technologies, and streamlined, aerodynamic design.
With room for seven people, the IONIQ 9 has unmatched space thanks to its construction on Hyundai’s well-known Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). Its innovative flat-floor design allows for a variety of seating alternatives, including fully reclining Relaxation Seats with Dynamic Body Care massage capabilities. Second-row swiveling seats provide a lounge-like setting during stationary periods, which is ideal for family gatherings.
Hyundai’s distinctive Parametric Pixel lighting and a sleek, curved roofline are elements of the IONIQ 9’s future appearance. The Long-Range RWD model with 19-inch wheels has an estimated WLTP range of 620 km thanks to aerodynamic improvements and a low drag coefficient of 0.259 Cd.
The IONIQ 9’s high-capacity 110.3 kWh battery can be swiftly charged from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes using a 350 kW charger. While the Long-Range RWD variant gives the highest efficiency, the Performance AWD model, which has three powertrain options, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds.
Modern features like an EV route planner and Hyundai AI Assistant make driving more pleasurable. Hyundai’s V2L technology and over-the-air upgrades ensure that the SUV is ready for the future.
The IONIQ 9 is equipped with Hyundai’s latest Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which include collision avoidance, lateral wind stability management, and torque vectoring. Improved structural safety ensures battery protection, while noise and vibration reduction techniques create a peaceful cabin environment.
