On its campus, the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology-Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) has installed EV charging stations. The installation is a part of our ongoing initiatives to encourage environmentally friendly and sustainable behaviors and lower carbon emissions.
The Institute’s students, faculty, staff, and visitors will be able to charge their electric vehicles thanks to the installation of EV charging stations on campus. On campus, the charging stations are placed in a convenient area.
Prof. Ranjan Bose, the Director, IIIT-Delhi, said, “This initiative is a big step towards promoting sustainable transportation and reducing our carbon footprint and shows our commitment to support the transition to electric mobility in the country.”
The charging stations can be used for a small fee and are compatible with the majority of electric cars. The Institute is certain that this campus addition will promote the use of electric vehicles, help create a cleaner environment, and inspire more stakeholders to adopt electric vehicles.
