Infinity has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) charging network to 16 governorates across Egypt, marking a significant milestone by reaching 200 charging stations and over 700 charging points. This expansion cements Infinity’s position as the largest EV charging network provider in Egypt and Africa, aiming to support the country’s growing demand for sustainable mobility.
The company’s extensive network covers both urban and rural areas, ensuring that EV charging infrastructure is available in commercial zones, public spaces, and along key highways. Infinity has installed DC fast chargers to ensure quick and efficient charging for drivers, contributing to the country’s clean transportation goals.
This expansion supports Egypt’s energy transition by making EV charging more accessible. The network encourages the adoption of electric vehicles by reducing the barriers to EV infrastructure, thus contributing to reducing carbon emissions and meeting sustainability targets.
Shams Abdel Ghaffar, Managing Director of Infinity’s EV Division, emphasized that reaching 200 charging stations is a major step towards Egypt’s greener future. The company plans to further expand its network, aiming for 1,000 charging points by the end of 2025.
Infinity’s commitment to expanding its network across Egypt highlights its dedication to advancing the country’s electric mobility infrastructure, ultimately making EV adoption a viable and accessible option for all Egyptians.
