Jitendra EV has announced a substantial ₹125 crore investment to develop ‘Hydrix,’ a pioneering hydrogen-electric hybrid vehicle slated for a 2028 launch. Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in Delhi, Hydrix represents the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions. The vehicle, characterized by its unique ‘Triquad’ design—a blend between three-wheeler and four-wheeler configurations—aims to set new benchmarks in eco-friendly transportation.

Hydrix is engineered to deliver a range of 400 kilometers on a single charge and achieve a top speed of 120 km/h. Its dual power system, combining hydrogen fuel cells and electric batteries, is designed to offer both performance and environmental benefits. The vehicle was officially unveiled by Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, underscoring the government’s support for innovative green technologies.

In addition to Hydrix, Jitendra EV introduced two other models at the expo: the Klasoo electric motorcycle and the Yunik electric scooter. Klasoo, set for release later this year, features a 3 kW motor capable of reaching speeds up to 100 km/h, targeting urban commuters seeking efficient and stylish transportation. Yunik, launched on January 7, 2025, offers a range of 118 km per charge, a top speed of 72 km/h, and incorporates the industry-first HyperGear Powertrain along with a detachable 3.8 kW battery.

The company also showcased its existing models, including the Primo scooter, equipped with features like reverse gear, turn-by-turn navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity, and the JMT 1000, known for its durability and fast-charging capabilities, suitable for both personal and commercial use. These offerings highlight Jitendra EV’s comprehensive approach to catering to diverse mobility needs.

Co-founder Samkit Shah emphasized the significance of these developments, stating, “The unveiling of Hydrix, Klasoo, and Yunik marks a pivotal moment in our journey to empower individuals and businesses with technology that not only meets today’s demands but anticipates tomorrow’s needs.” The company’s strategic investment and product launches reflect its dedication to advancing India’s green mobility ecosystem.
