JSW MG Launches Comet Blackstorm EV at ₹7.8 Lakh

JSW MG has unveiled the Comet Blackstorm EV, priced at ₹7.8 lakh, marking its latest addition to the growing electric vehicle market in India. This special edition of the MG Comet EV offers an all-black exterior with striking red accents, adding a sporty and premium touch to the popular compact electric vehicle.

Distinctive Design Features

The Comet Blackstorm EV stands out with its Starry Black finish, accented by red highlights on the bumper, skid plate, side cladding, and Morris Garages badging. The steel wheels are also revealed under the all-black coverings, which feature a red star pattern, further enhancing the vehicle’s unique look. The special edition is marked with a “Blackstorm” insignia on the fender.

Interior Upgrades

Inside, the Comet Blackstorm features black seats with red stitching and Blackstorm emblems on the headrests. While the dashboard remains the same as the standard Comet EV with white and grey tones, the redesigned cabin adds a sense of luxury and style to the overall driving experience.

Battery and Performance

The Comet Blackstorm EV is equipped with a 17.3 kWh battery pack paired with a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) electric motor. This setup promises an efficient and smooth driving experience, offering the reliability and performance expected from the MG Comet series.

Booking Details and Price

The Comet Blackstorm EV is available for booking at a nominal fee of ₹11,000. The vehicle is priced at ₹7.8 lakh, with an additional cost of ₹2.5 per km for battery rental, offering an affordable yet stylish entry into the electric vehicle segment.
