Kabira Mobility, the creative business behind the popular electric bike models KM3000 and KM4000, introduces the KM5000, the firm’s newest flagship model. The KM5000 is India’s fastest and longest-riding electric bike, and it was created with bike lovers, explorers, and thrill-seekers in mind. The KM5000, which is packed with revolutionary features and industry-leading standards, intends to change the worldwide electric two-wheeler market.
The KM5000 is India’s first single-sided swing arm electric cruiser, powered by a proprietary mid-drive engine developed by Kabira Mobility in partnership with DeltaEV. This revolutionary combination allows riders to achieve high speeds of up to 188 km/h, making it the fastest electric bike on Indian roads to date.
The bike has an unprecedented 344 km range on a single charge thanks to an 11.6 kWh water-cooled LFP battery pack. Because of Kabira Mobility’s extensive technological competence in battery pack development, a sophisticated, high-performance battery system, one of the largest for a two-wheeler to date, was created.
The KM5000 comes with two types of charging options: a high-speed boost charger that can charge the vehicle from 0 to 80% in less than 2 hours and a standard charger for overnight charging.
The bike features a 7-inch smart touchscreen digital dashboard with 4G connectivity, providing riders with a smart, seamless, and connected vehicle experience. The dashboard offers turn-by-turn navigation, and music control, and provides in-depth vehicle information and riding habits to the rider.
The dashboard also displays battery status and information, as well as sophisticated diagnostics, allowing the rider to keep the vehicle in top shape. The KM5000 has dual front and single rear disc brakes with dual channel ABS, which improves safety and control. Showa’s Nitrox rear suspensions and inverted front forks ensure a comfortable riding experience even on prolonged excursions.
Other smart features on the KM5000 include a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), side step, saree guard, rapid charging, park assist, fall sensors and elevation stabiliser, among others. It has projector headlamps for better visibility when riding, as well as front and rear LED headlamps and indicators with DRLs.
