The Kia EV3 won “Crossover of the Year” at the 2024 TopGear Awards, held at London’s White City House.

The EV3 continues Kia’s great success at the annual awards by fusing exceptional space and functionality with compact crossover dimensions. The EV9, which won the 2023 Family Car of the Year award, and the EV6, which won the 2021 Crossover of the Year award, are its older siblings. Kia also took home the “Manufacturer of the Year” award in 2022.

“The EV3 stands out with a design that stays just on the edge of radical, a roomy and luxurious interior, and the kind of range figures that erode the argument for not going EV in a world that is becoming more and more saturated with mid-size electric crossovers,” said Jack Rix, Editor-in-Chief of TopGear Magazine. It builds on the ingenuity of the EV9 and EV6 and carries on Kia’s amazing run of success.

“The EV3 is everything you could possibly want in an electric vehicle: Versatile, spacious, and efficient, and it is ready to become a popular choice for the main car of the household,” said Marc Hedrich, President and CEO of Kia Europe. The industry acknowledges the EV3’s excellent qualities, especially without the price tag, as seen by its consistent acclaim across Europe, notably from the prestigious TopGear.com Awards.

The EV3 is an important milestone in Kia’s “Plan S” strategy, which aims to launch 15 electric cars globally by 2027.
