Kia has officially revealed the production version of its much-awaited EV4, a sleek electric hatchback designed to offer style, performance, and practical range. The EV4 represents Kia’s push to expand its electric lineup with a more compact, city-friendly model.
Based on Kia’s dedicated E-GMP platform, the EV4 features a sharp, modern design language with angular surfaces, slim LED lighting, and a low-slung profile. Its coupe-like silhouette blends hatchback functionality with a futuristic look, aimed at younger urban buyers.
The EV4 is expected to come with two battery options, offering ranges of up to 400 km and 500 km respectively. These figures position it competitively against other compact EVs in global markets. Kia has also hinted at fast-charging capabilities, enabling 10–80% charge in under 30 minutes.
Inside, the EV4 continues Kia’s clean and tech-forward approach. A wide-screen digital cockpit, minimalistic dashboard, and sustainable materials are part of its cabin highlights. The model focuses on user comfort and smart mobility, including advanced driver-assistance systems.
Kia is likely to offer both single-motor (rear-wheel drive) and dual-motor (all-wheel drive) variants of the EV4. While powertrain specifics are yet to be fully detailed, the brand aims to provide a mix of performance and efficiency tailored for both city use and occasional highway drives.
Set to launch in select global markets by late 2025, the Kia EV4 will serve as an entry point into the brand’s electric portfolio. It reflects Kia’s strategy to make EVs more accessible across body styles and price points while meeting growing demand for clean urban mobility.
