Kinetic Watts and Volts, the electric mobility division of the Kinetic Group, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing facility in Ahilya Nagar, Maharashtra. Spanning over 87,000 square feet, this facility marks a significant step in the company’s strategic re-entry into India’s electric mobility sector.

The new plant is equipped with advanced automation technologies, precision assembly lines, and robotics-driven processes, ensuring scalable and sustainable EV production. Designed to cater to a range of electric mobility needs—including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and commercial fleet vehicles—the facility aligns with India’s broader mission to promote clean transportation.

Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman of the Kinetic Group, emphasized the strategic importance of the facility, stating, “This facility represents our commitment to shaping the future of mobility with world-class manufacturing excellence. It’s a proud moment for Kinetic Watts and Volts and for the entire Kinetic Group as we set the stage for a new era of innovation, sustainability, and electric mobility from India.”

The facility’s digitalized operations and eco-conscious infrastructure are designed to improve efficiency and adaptability to evolving market demands. KWV aims to serve both domestic and international markets with Made-in-India electric vehicles, contributing to India’s national mission for EV adoption and reducing the carbon footprint associated with traditional mobility solutions.

Building upon the Kinetic Group’s legacy in the Indian automotive sector, KWV’s new facility signifies a commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable electric mobility solutions. The company is also exploring export opportunities, reinforcing India’s position as a global hub for EV manufacturing.
