Harley-Davidsons electric motorcycle division, LiveWire, has unveiled two new models S2 Mulholland and S2 Del Mar LE aimed at making electric motorcycling more accessible to a wider audience. These launches mark a strategic push to offer lower-cost alternatives within the premium EV bike segment.
The S2 Mulholland is designed for urban riders, featuring a minimalist aesthetic and upright riding posture. Built on the scalable S2 Arrow architecture, it offers a range of approximately 195 km in the city, with performance tuned for efficiency and agility in dense traffic environments.
Meanwhile, the S2 Del Mar LE is a limited-edition variant of the Del Mar platform, offering enhanced styling and unique design elements. While its performance metrics align closely with the standard Del Mar, the LE model is positioned to appeal to early adopters and collectors seeking a distinctive electric riding experience.
Both models are aimed at younger, tech-savvy riders who prioritize sustainability without compromising on performance or brand identity. LiveWire’s growing lineup reflects the brand’s evolving approach to cater to emerging urban mobility needs and to compete in the mid-tier electric motorcycle segment.
LiveWire emphasized that affordability remains key in expanding its reach. By pricing these new models more competitively than its flagship LiveWire ONE, the company hopes to attract a new generation of EV enthusiasts looking for performance and value in one package.
With these additions, LiveWire continues its momentum in the electric two-wheeler space, reinforcing Harley-Davidson’s long-term commitment to electrification. The company aims to tap into global EV adoption trends while staying true to its performance-driven heritage.
